In Memoriam
The Holiday season is upon us. For those who have experienced the death of a loved one in this past year, difficult emotions may arise and ambush what is usually a celebrative holiday season. Thanksgiving and Christmas due to its nature with focus on family, yearly traditions, expectations, social events, and “cheer” can blindside family and loved ones. You are encouraged to remember the family members of those whose physical lives ended this year. A prayer, a card of support, maybe even sharing a memory of a time when you were with their loved one, can be a tremendous support for the grieving. It says, ‘you haven’t been forgotten and neither has your loved one’.
