Incredible Gift, 2 Corinthians 9:15
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift. II Corinthians 9:15 (NKJ)
We Rush about buying gifts for our loved ones and friends. The hustle and bustle of decorating the house, the tree, baking all those Christmas goodies—OH-SO-MUCH-TO-DO!! Do we pause and remember why we really celebrate Christmas and what it really means to our lives?
“For unto you is born—a Saviour which is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11) Our Saviour was born to, one day, die for our sins. He was buried and rose again in victory over death. He did this for us so that we might receive His free gift of salvation. If we have received Christ as our Saviour, His blood covering our sins, we are to share this gift with others. Tell them of Christ’s great love for ALL. (John 3:16) We are Christ’s ambassadors here on earth to share the “good news” with our loved ones, friends, all that God leads us to. Not just at Christmas but ALL the time.
(Phil 4:13) “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.” This God’s promise to us, so let’s claim it and be faithful in obeying God’s command, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)
